AI in Wedding Design | Industry Changes

Whether you are tech-savvy or a simple bystander, there’s no ignoring the rapid growth of AI (Artificial Intelligence) across a multitude of sectors. But, being in the wedding business, what exactly does it mean for the future/present of design? Artificial Intelligence has slowly but surely changed the way artists work. Indeed, while the art world debates what constitutes as ‘real art’ in 2023, AI technologies continue to evolve at a rapid rate based on an internalized database of encyclopedic knowledge. As designers and creatives who have amassed exemplary skills through traditional methods, this new behemoth in technological advancement could prove to be a challenge. After all, can the singular references of one individual compare with that of the world wide web?

The answer is, albeit outwardly complex, inherently simple. If the question is whether AI techniques could replace imagination, the answer is a resounding no. AI is, at this stage, still dependent on a series of manually entered prompts and references to create renderings and other forms of art across a multitude of software.

But without the knowledge possessed by the individual doing the data entry, it cannot put together an image that can be utilized on its own as sufficiently as a custom-created 3D rendering. However, if the question is whether event designers can utilize the all-knowing power of AI software in unison with their imagination to create unconventional designs, then the answer is yes

At MOD Design Events, we highly recommend the use of AI software to embolden the imagination, to create inspirational images that act as the starting point for a functional design.

That is why our team is consistently testing, adapting, and evaluating the latest technological trends alongside design advancements to ensure client requests aren't simply elegant but refreshingly modern.
